Dance and Drama is visual and kinaesthetic aspect, but according to Hindu and traditional dances and mythology it is an art which is performed with a spiritual discipline and having a diving connection with higher realms of the world still being grounded in the body, therefore Rasa can be truly understood when they are expressed with Bhars or emotions. Rasa can be perceived and understood only when they are given a form and human body thought with it's imperfections is the best form to understand Navras.
When the dance is performing she actually feels the emotions she is portraying and they manifest in her physical body and sensations.
These feelings are then absorbed by the audience in a kind a sympathetic way.
